A new poem up, an old... Something up. Perhaps more soon. I'm going through a lot of old, unfinished poetry in order to see if I can get new inspiration from the older words. We'll see. Have some work on Lasting, Attica, and the Amaranth done. Maybe you'll see something soon.

AFI is coming to Denver!!! YAY!!!

After months on top of months of writer's block, I was finally able to get something down tonight. Hopefully that will continue. There's a small preview of what I was working on tonight. It's from the first novel I started to write. I believe I first started it about seven years ago. However, after many computer crashes, story changes, and writing styles, I didn't have much left of it. So, this is the new version, the re-write. It as of yet has no name, I just call it Attica, after one of the main characters... If you can call her that. Hopefully you'll see a little more of that and I'll have it finished in a year. Or so I'm hoping. It may be a stand alone, or a series. We'll see how the first one goes, and if I can get all I want into one volume.

I'm hoping to have much more posted sometime soon. However, it will likely just be previews like the one I posted today. I rarely write poetry, in all honesty. Everything here is just random stuff that just came to me, that I had to get down. Perhaps now that I'm not completely blocked any more, I'll have some more poetry for you. But that's not specifically what I'm working toward.

What I am working on, and toward, is the following:

I have three novels in progress. One, Attica, which you got a preview of today. I've been writing it for about seven years, but after many issues and getting distracted by other stories, I'm restarting the entire thing. I'm hoping to have it finished in a year. We'll see how that goes.

The second novel is Lasting. I'm fairly sure on the title, but not quite. It's possible that it will change. I've been working on Lasting for about five years, and had similar issues as I did with Attica. Lasting was what distracted me from Attica, and I had quite a bit done before all of the computer crashes. So, it is also being re-written. I'll let you know when I have a new chapter. I'm hoping to have this finished soon after Attica, perhaps a year later.

The other is very obscure yet. I'm not quite sure what it is. It's been in my head long before even Attica, but it's never really taken much of a form. I THINK that The Silver is a part of it, but I'm not sure. It has no name. I called it Golden Colorado for a while, when I was contemplating making it a novel after my life. I still call it Golden Colorado, though I don't know if it counts as that any more. I'll let you know if anything happens with that. I have no hopeful dates for completion of this novel. For all I know, it will take my entire life to write, considering how obscure it is.

I have many more ideas for novels that are either very obscure, or already have a short plot. I haven't started on any because I already have my plate full with Attica, Lasting, and what I'm calling Golden Colorado.

I have wanted to write short stories for a very long time, however, every time I start writing one, it gets complicated and turns into an idea for a novel. I'm hoping to finish a set of short stories for a book. So, hopefully you'll be seeing a few of those in the future. I have no set date for the book, especially because I haven't decided if it will just be short stories, or if it will be poems and short stories, or short stories with photos, or short stories, poems, and photos. I'll let you know.

Poetry, though not my strong suit, and though not what I am specifically wanting to finish, is another thing I'm working on. I have quite a few completed poems, that also probably need to be refinished, just to make them better. Depending on what happens with the short story book, I may or may not put together a book of poetry. Once again, I'll let you know.

I have a lot to write. Things have been building in my head for eight years or more, and barely any of it is on paper. And I have so much inspiration for it. (You can thank Lord of the Rings for the new inspiration and push.) I'll try to post more.

I haven't been able to do any work in ages. It's just kind of a.... Blankness in the writing department. The good news is, that for the past few months, there's been a pile of ideas added, and I think the blankness is getting full. Now I just have t get it onto paper, which is of course difficult.

ALSO, there has been a lack of any additions to my modeling page. [link] But, I've been speaking with a friend and there is a possibility of new additions coming soon.

Apparently there's been some spammers running around on DA that post comments from various accounts saying "Hey, I think I saw your picture here CLICK HERE" or something like that... so don't click it, even if it's your friend.
It sends you to a fake loggin site and it takes your username and password and the spammers change your password IMMEDIATELY.

So don't do it.
